Pixel XL - Android Oreo

This thread is all about the fish! I traded in the angler and picked up a marlin for myself and I love it. I haven't used a stock ROM in a very long time, big fan of LineageOS (formerly CyanogenMOD), I first used it on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and I thought I would never look back.

Well, there are some complications with the Pixel, mainly the A/B system partition scheme. It makes development of a custom ROM complicated and the community hasn't fully supported the new concept yet.

After building LineageOS from source, reluctantly integrating OpenGAPPS, I found it to just be too unstable for a daily driver. Begrudgingly, I was forced to use the stock firmware. So I decided I would use Android Oreo (as it had just become available) and I love it, except for the presistant notification ( ...running in the background)

More info coming, eventually....

!! Update 9/16/17 !!

Unfortunately my time no longer allows for building any version of LineageOS/OMS for either the Nexus 6P or the Pixel XL. Going forward I will be dedicating this page to information about the Pixel XL. Any tips, tweaks, or procedures listed will only be in reference to the Pixel XL (non-Verizon). For now, I will leave the last builds available for download.
